is accomplished through a thorough analysis of the characteristics of
the individual’s swing, starting with the True Temper Shaft Lab.
The Shaft Lab is a computer-based tool that measures the demand a
golfer places on the shaft during the swing.
Since each golfer can load a shaft differently during their
swing, the Shaft Lab is designed to analyze the load characteristics and
recommend the proper shaft flex to support each golfer’s swing.
The proper shaft selection results in superior performance in
control, accuracy and distance for each golfer.
Golf Augusta Pro Shops is also a Certified Rifle Fitting Center (CRC) so we can professionally fit each golfer with the proper frequency matched shaft for which Rifle has become so famous.
Many top notch players have had great success with Rifle, Rifle Tour Flighted, and the new Project X shafts. And we provide an extended selection of UST shafts through participating as a UST Tour Shop, where we have access to the same proprietary shafts that many PGA Tour players are currently using, shafts that are not generally available to the playing public.
Our analysis includes measurements for proper club length and grip
size. Equipment that fits
the specifics of the individual golfer, along with proper technique,
promotes an athletic and natural address position, swing mechanics that
produce an efficient on-plane swing, and allows the hands to work
correctly to square the clubface for control and produce maximum club
head speed for distance. Additional
characteristics are discussed when selecting equipment, such as desired
ball trajectory, preference in shaft material and weight, grip texture
and material, set composition in terms of a preference for more irons or
woods, club head size for woods and forged verses cast irons.

access to all types of components to meet unique requirements for design

available for testing. We

As a certified Swing Science Fitting Center, we carry their full line of forged and cast irons, hybrids, and their outstanding drivers and fairway woods. Recent additions to our industry leading components are the Hathaway V4 and V6 Max MOI adjustable shaft drivers. These drivers allow the golfer to change loft, lie, and face angle, or have multiple shafts they can use in the same driver head for varying course conditions. Having custom golf clubs built at Golf Augusta Pro Shops is a totally different experience from walking into your local golf discount store and buying a box of clubs. At Golf Augusta Pro Shops you'll be expected to work up a little sweat from testing our demo clubs and participating in the swing analysis. Afterwards, we'll help make a few important decisions about your new equipment. The analysis and selection process typically takes about an hour. It takes about a week for the components to arrive and another couple of days to actually build your equipment. So from start to finish, plan on 10 days to two weeks to get your new clubs. When we deliver your new set, we'll verify fit, you can test drive you new clubs in one of our simulators, and we'll adjust the irons for lie and loft if necessary.
We've even added new game improvement fitting from Balance Certified Golf, where each club can be counter-balanced to provide optimum feel and performance. Many accomplished golfers have found that fine tuning their long shafted drivers, putters, and wedges for personalized balance preferences can improve their ball striking and scoring.
